Vehicle identification checks are performed for Westerly residents by the Westerly Police Department. There is no form or appointment needed. There is a $15.00 fee payable by check or money order (no cash). The inspections are conducted at police headquarters on the following scheduled days:

| WEDNESDAY | 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM |
| THURSDAY | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM |
You must bring the vehicle, title, bill of sale and registration with you. You must also bring proof of residency with you in order to have your VIN Check completed.
