VIN Inspection

Vehicle identification checks are performed for Westerly residents by the Westerly Police Department. There is no form or appointment needed. There is a $15.00 fee. The inspections are conducted at police headquarters. You must bring the vehicle, title, bill of sale and registration with you. You must also bring proof of residency with you in order to have your VIN Check completed. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or Saturday 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
